SYTYCD

Sigh. I knew after last week it would be tough.
I love every single dancer on SYTYCD. They are all my favorite. I don't want any one of them to go home. I don't even know who I'm going to vote for!

Random, Boredom

Ok I'm totally addicted to Gilmore Girls. I didn't think it would be this good. The writing is just genius. It is keeping me from packing.

I am loving FFIV for the DS. It makes me so happy.

I'm hungry and am excited about having a peanut butter sandwhich in just a minute.

I go through periods of ultimate stress and ultimate sadness about moving, but OVERALL I am am extremely excited and optimistic.(It is big for me to actually be optimistic about something) I believe it is the start of something great.

Jones Cream Soda is like crack to me. I get it every now and then for a special treat. A four pack usually dosen't last more than a day.

I am SO EXCITED about the Olympics. I can feel it in my bones. The time is drawing near.

At The Moment

Well I surely didn't get enough sleep last night but I woke up all sick this morning so I'm up. I think I'll take a nap on the couch in a minute.

I'm really sad and nervous about moving. I cried all day yesterday because it finally hit me now that I am home from vacation. I'm terribly excited too, it just killed me to tell the few people left that didn't know and it kills me to think about leaving the friends I have here. Some people's reactions killed me too. I mean why would you ever not be supportive? When half of my friends moved away, even my best friend - my brother - I died inside, but I never showed it until maybe later when you can have those miss you moments. But I never told them not to move. Because I knew it was the best thing for them to do. And I maybe even secretly wished I had the guts to do the same thing. Well now I do. Oh well I just keep telling myself that they do it because they will miss me so much, and that if they are a good enough friend, they will remain friends with you no matter where you move. It will just be really hard if that turns out to not be true with some people. (disclaimer: I am not talking about anyone of you!) I am extremely grateful to everyone who reacted in a positive way. I really needed it and it has helped me out a lot.

It got me into some trouble letting Tony post it when I was gone on vacation, but he called me and was so freakin' excited to do it I had to let him. I think what makes me happiest is how excited Tony is about all of this. He really needs this. We both do, but it's just great to see him get so excited about it.

Tony, Shannon and I are finally going to get to see Batman today, that makes me sooo happy. This is the movie I have been most excited to see for forever so I can't wait. I didn't get to see it opening night, but I was at the beach, and I'm sure I'll go see it 5 more times, so that will make up for it.

Speaking of, our beach vacation wasn't all it was cracked up to be. I mean we had some GREAT times. Lots and lots of memories and laughs and love. But wow, some of it was NOT fun. I have blocked most of that out though, trying not to let it ruin the experience! It could have been alot better!! The good thing is that now we know--for next time--it will be better!

I finished The Host before we left. It was really good, but it could have been ALOT shorter. I got so bored during the middle of the book I thought seriously about skipping some pages, and I probably did. I mean that is a huge book, and I really don't think it needs to be quite that big. Had a great ending though, which I was really scared about. It was so original too, I've never read anything like that. I don't know how they would do it, but it would make a fantastic movie. I started The Wedding Machine on vacation and so far I love it. I'm only 25 pages in! It just reminds me so much of my group of friends, it should be a fun.

Tonight Shannon and I are having dinner with Steph, which makes me happy. I don't know how I shall live day-to-day without my little Mexican living right down the road from me. :-(

Hello, Vacation

We leave tomorrow for Gulf Shores. I am looking forward to reading and playing on the beach, getting some sun, having some fun colored drinks, wearing my new cute outfits, having fun with the girls, and thinking about absolutely nothing. Or maybe thinking about lots of things, who knows? That could be a good thing. The point is I'll be on THE BEACH!

Shannon and I got pedicure's today. I named the color "Melt Your Eyes Pink". Because when can you do that except when you go to the beach? I love it. I'm excited.

I'm worried when I get back my husband will just be a skeleton. He just mopes around and even sometimes forgets to eat when I'm gone. So if you get an inkling, come knock on our door and make him go outside for a while and make sure he's eaten.

Now I have to go pack. I get to pick out my two new books I'm taking to the beach. I'm in the mood for a fun beachy read. I hope everyone has a great Batman-y weekend!

E3

Well I was going to blog about our trip to Montgomery, but I think I said it all in pictures on myspace and photoblog. It's too much to blog about. It would take me 3 years, and then I would forget something and be mad that I forgot it! It was a FANTASTIC trip!!

I'm terribly excited about our trip to Gulf Shores. Shannon and I went shopping today and I think I finally have everything I need. I got new clothes in Montgomery, and I got new clothes today, I am happy! I finally feel cool enough for the beach.

Tony and I watched the video from the E3 convention (the Electronic Entertainment Expo) and were freaking-out.
Just some highlights were :

-TheXBox 360 getting a system overhaul. The menu's are different, new features, etc. I am so glad because it seems to be so much more organized now. I have been playing the 360 for so long and sometimes it still takes me a while to find things!

-We get "Mii's" like on the Wii. Of course they call them Avatar's, but I will always call them Mii's. They are going to be interactive. When a friend gets online, their Mii will pop up. There will be games you can play online with other people's Mii's and your Mii. And they are so customizable! This makes a girl happier than a guy. We're all about the customization.

-Netflix!!! If I have a subscription to Netflix, you can do it on the XBox now. You don't even have to wait for them in the mail. I can download the movies from my XBox. AND, I can watch a movie, and invite you to watch it with me!! You can be sitting on your couch, I can be sitting on mine, and we can watch a movie together! /dies.

-All the new GAMES!!!!!!!!!! The end of the year, no one will ever see me because so much stuff is coming out that I want. FFXIII!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok sorry geek out moment. Fable 2, Lips looks too fun-you can plug your ipod into the XBox and do karoke with your own songs,- RockBand 2, LotR: Conquest, You're In The Movies-you do alot of motion-reading mini games and then it combines it all and puts you into a movie-, and I'm sure there is more I can't think of. /excited

Everyone should go to Pieworks. It is soooooooooo GOOD. It's one of my new favorite resturants. (and that's a short list)

We went to see Hellboy 2 the other day. It was a fun popcorn movie. I absolutely loved the prince in it. But I have a thing for elves so... yeah. I hate Selma Blair, but it was a fun take-your-mind-off-things 2 hours.

I love Jones Cream Soda.

I'm a dork, get over it.

Two things I am excited about at the moment:

I just love this video. Every time it comes on TV I have to stop and watch it. Makes me laugh every time. You have to be pretty familiar with the recent youtube craze to get it though.

Well this isn't an "at the moment" thing. I have been waiting on this game forever and the time of it's release is getting closer and I AM SO EXCITED. *squee!*

Passion

The infamous briefcase dance. The main reason I love this show is not for the dance, but for the passion I see in these people's eyes and faces and movements when they dance. This is also the reason I have finally decided Chelsea H is my favorite. She literally made me cry when I watched this a few weeks back on So You Think You Can Dance, not only because it is a beautiful song and dance, but the absolute amazing heart wrenching passion that is on her face and in her movements while she dances it. She always has that. Not to mention the fact that she is a Salsa dancer and still takes over any style of dance they throw at her.

It's really made me think about what I am most passionate about, especially something that even compares to that. I'm talking deep, constant passion for something. For me it would be books, nature, video games (hey, it's a legitimate passion!). But mainly, wholly, fully, mind body and soul it would have to be horses. There is a constant hole in my heart from not being able to be with horses anymore. But if I were really that passionate about something wouldn't I do anything humanly possible to do it? I mean sure I can't afford them and have no place to put them, but what am I really working on to be able to have them again? These dancers would rather die than not be able to dance. Literally, die. I feel like I used to have that, but don't anymore. Hopefully I can find a way back to my passion someday.

We can only hope to be this passionate about something in our lives. Thank God if you know what that something is, and get on your knees and thank him if you are actually able to do that something in your life.

Hancock

Well I got home from babysitting, layed on the couch and went right to sleep without meaning to. At 7:30 Tony woke me up and said come on we're going to see Hancock with our friends Dave, Chester, and Priscilla. Who am I to argue? I was so excited to see it I'd give up a night of much needed packing and shopping and washing clothes for it. Little did I know what a great trade off I was getting!!!!
You know why I loved Hancock SO much? It was SO O-R-I-G-I-N-A-L. Which is unheard of these days, especially with a superhero movie.
It had fantastic special effects, great acting, and an epic and compelling story. Left me salivating for a sequel.
FAN. BA FREAKING. TASTIC.
You think you know going into it. That it's going to be a fun popcorn Hancock movie. Well, it is that.
And so much more.
I must pack, so that is all.
We leave tomorrow yayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy!
I hope everyone has a GREAT 4TH!
