The infamous briefcase dance. The main reason I love this show is not for the dance, but for the passion I see in these people's eyes and faces and movements when they dance. This is also the reason I have finally decided Chelsea H is my favorite. She literally made me cry when I watched this a few weeks back on So You Think You Can Dance, not only because it is a beautiful song and dance, but the absolute amazing heart wrenching passion that is on her face and in her movements while she dances it. She always has that. Not to mention the fact that she is a Salsa dancer and still takes over any style of dance they throw at her.
It's really made me think about what I am most passionate about, especially something that even compares to that. I'm talking deep, constant passion for something. For me it would be books, nature, video games (hey, it's a legitimate passion!). But mainly, wholly, fully, mind body and soul it would have to be horses. There is a constant hole in my heart from not being able to be with horses anymore. But if I were really that passionate about something wouldn't I do anything humanly possible to do it? I mean sure I can't afford them and have no place to put them, but what am I really working on to be able to have them again? These dancers would rather die than not be able to dance. Literally, die. I feel like I used to have that, but don't anymore. Hopefully I can find a way back to my passion someday.
We can only hope to be this passionate about something in our lives. Thank God if you know what that something is, and get on your knees and thank him if you are actually able to do that something in your life.

Beautiful post. Wednesday's have been my favorite day of the week b/c I watch that show religiously. I LOVE IT!!! But I can't find a clear cut favorite like you can. I really do like Mark and Chelsea b/c they do connect and put alot of passion into everything but I also love Twitchington and Joshua and Will. Will can do nothing wrong. But I also love the couple of Gev and Courtney. I think they are my favorite couple because they seem so together and such. Anyways, I just told Laura Michelle two nights ago that I will cry when that show is over because I just love to watch those people dance every week. I vote they don't send anybody home and just let them dance twice a week. But my favorite dance so far this year, and there have been many, was last weeks "Dreamin with a Broken Heart" by Twitchington. Mia Michaels is my most favoritest choreographer on that show!!
As for passion, I can relate. I feel as if theatre is my ultimate passion for many reasons but I don't do as much as I would like. I want to be up there all the time doing whatever it takes to make that theatre better but I just don't do it. And sometimes I wonder if I really feel that way b/c like you said, if you liked something that much, you would find a way to make it happen. At least we have video games and the Olympics huh?
omg Mikey I know. Twitchington is my favorite couple. Courtney is just my favorite girl. And it took a long time to say ok, this is my favorite! I CANNOT though, pick a favorite guy. If I had to pick, it would be between Mark and Twitch. I was going to put last weeks "Dreamin with a Broken Heart" in that blog too, but I just wanted to keep it simple so I went with just one of my favorite dances. That one they did with the bed though, MAN.
no it would have to be between those 2 guys and joshua too. he is just so INTERESTING. btw i had no idea you watched, thats awesome! "Mia Michaels is my most favoritest choreographer on that show!!" -- ME TOO. i mean holy crap. ok we'll just have to get together one day and discuss. if we didn't have plans saturday night i'd say breakfast! :(
OMG but i love katee too. she can do everything!! i LOVED the bollywood. ok im going to stop now.
I love your post. You know I preach about passions and being passionate about what you do! We'll find that perfect horsey job!
