You know what I love? Having Chai Latte and Doughnuts this morning. MmMmMM Well, just the Chai and Doughnuts part. I happen to hate the morning. But Chai and Doughnuts make it bearable.
I guess it is a good sign about moving the fact that Tony immediately got a job without even an interview, I got an immediate job without even an interview (which is just part time at a daycare), and I applied for one and only one job at 3:00 which by 7:30 the next morning I had a reply back from someone saying they want to see me about it. That one I am really excited about actually. I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much about it, but just the fact that I got a response makes me happy. It is at the Taylor Crossing Animal Hospital. It's one of the best Animal Hospitals I've ever seen.
What's funny is I applied for it without knowing it is the same animal hospital I used to stand on our friend Meredith's balcony (her balcony happened to look over the hospital's backyard where they would constantly have dogs out playing with them) thinking "I would love to work there" I have tried to get a job at the vet's around here for so long. We shall see!
A great thing about this moving stuff is I am going through EVERYthing and organizing and throwing away and putting in my sister's garage sale. I mean EVERYthing. Drawer's, clothes, toys, books... It's very refreshing. I'm trying to be ruthless about it. There is always those things you look at and say "well, I might need it one day". That is the junk devil trying to get you.
The Olympics start tonight and that means I get to do frequent medal counts on my blog again! Oh the joy of life's simple pleasures. Well it won't be much joy if the U.S. does poorly, but I'm crossing my fingers that won't happen! My DVR is going to be SO full of Olympic goodness. That's how I'm spending my Friday night tonight! I have a feeling I"m going to have no night life for a few weeks...
Saturday we are going to Tony's grandmother's birthday party. She's going to be 85 years old. I hope and pray to God that I am like her if I am fortunate enough to live that long. That woman... she is unstoppable. Has so much energy and no big health problems. Must be the Mexcian blood.
Sunday I'm hoping Steph and I will be going to a make-up party, and then to see Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants. I don't say it often, but I really need some GIRLY girl time!
Meredith and Lauran got me a ticket to go with them to go to the So You Think You Can Dance tour in Pensacola with them in November as a "moving present"!! Wooo! I'm so excited to see the top 10 dance again.
Well I am off to make lunch for the rugrats. I hope everyone has a GREAT weekend.
